- Concido 25% WP is an insecticide that regulates insect growth and is designed to control larval worms in agricultural crops. It contains diflubenzuron, which disrupts the formation of chitin, a protein essential for molting. This causes the larvae to fail to complete their development and die before becoming adults.
- Concido is used in the early stages of infestation when the larvae are small and active. It helps break the pest's life cycle and reduce the number of subsequent generations in the field. Its extended effect makes it a suitable choice when used within integrated pest management programs.
Product Features
- A growth-regulating insecticide specialized in controlling cutworm larvae
- It prevents the formation of chitin and stops the molting process.
- It limits the transformation of larvae into adult insects.
- It reduces the severity of the infection and limits subsequent generations.
- Effective when used early, at the beginning of larval emergence.
- Its effect is prolonged compared to fast-acting shock pesticides.
- Suitable for use within Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
- Relatively safe for the crop when recommendations are followed.
Target pests
- leafworms
- fruit worms
- codling moth
- Citrus fruit worm
- olive fruit worm

- The pesticide is dissolved in an appropriate amount of water, stirring well until completely dissolved, then sprayed on the plants with good coverage of the leaves.
- Spraying is best done when larvae first appear and in the early stages of infestation to achieve optimal efficiency. Spraying can be repeated every 14 to 21 days depending on the severity of the infestation and the control program followed.
The prohibition period (before harvest) is 14 days. The prohibition period must be adhered to, and the crop should not be collected until the specified period has elapsed to ensure product safety.
